We realize you might be a little curious about who we are and what we are all about, so we hope this site can offer you some insightful information about our church, what we believe, how we worship and where our heart is. At Emmanuel’s Passion our overall desire is to see people develop a loving relationship and passion for God, and to grow spiritually in all areas of their lives.

At Emmanuel’s Passion Your Past Is Not Your Future!

We realize that everyone probably has things in their past that is not flattering and even more, sometimes full of wrongful decisions that have left them suffering with remorse and regret. Your life may be one that has been full of hurt, sorrows and tragedies that has left you with scars and bruises. You may be the victim of drugs and alcohol addiction or sexual abuse as a child. You may at this moment be experiencing rejection by people because of what you’ve done in the past. Your circumstances may have left you feeling completely abandoned, destitute and alone. You may even feel like you’ve reached the end of your rope and there is just no hope for you or your situation and that life is not worth living anymore.

But thank God, we know our past is not our future! God desires to give us life and life more abundantly. Therefore, the bible tells us that everyone can have both a new life and a fresh beginning in Christ Jesus. God wants to radically change each of us from a life of despair we once knew into a life full of His hope, glory and anointing. That’s why we believe and teach that God has a plan and purpose for each of us and we want to be a church family that helps everyone realize that potential in God. Simply put, Emmanuel’s Passion is a place where people can nuture and grow. A place of healing and not hurt. A place where they can come and experience God’s love, forgiveness and resurrection power for a new life and know that God is for them and not against them.

At Emmanuel’s Passion Everyone is Part Of The Family

At Emmanuel’s Passion we like to think of ourselves as more than just a bunch of church goers but as a family that reaches out to all, accepts all and encourages all. We fully embrace the biblical concept of “let whosoever will, come” and that God calls everyone to come, regardless of who or what they are or might have been.

You don’t have to worry if you’re going to fit in or not. We are a diverse group of believers where anyone and everyone can find acceptance. We’re white, black, Hispanic, young, old, educated, not-so-educated, poor, business owners, etc., coming from many walks of life and with all types of backgrounds. You won’t find any cliques, no hard-hearted and unforgiving people, no “I’m better than you” attitudes. We look down on no one but strive to lift each other up because we all realize that none of us is perfect. All of us know we were just a bunch of sinners saved by God’s amazing grace.

And don’t worry if you’ve got any church clothes to wear or not. Some of us may come dressed in suits…some may come wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. Don’t fret so much about the attire because you won’t find anybody at the doors of the church enforcing a dress code…just smiling, friendly faces who are glad you came. So don’t be overly concerned about if you have to dress up or not to come, just come…what matters most is that we all come with a heart to worship.

At Emmanuel’s Passion We Believe In Reaching Out To Others

Evangelism is a big part of our church family. We have an active outreach ministry that goes into all areas of our community, from bus ministry to children to knocking on doors to having a presence in community events. We are continously striving to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord in both promoting the gospel of His great salvation and the warmth of His embracing love. That’s why our evangelism philosophy is simple:

Reach out to those who don’t know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Reach out to those who are hurting and need a place of healing.

Reach out to those who feel abandoned and need a place of safe refuge.

Be a place where people can come and grow strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Currently, we are striving to reach into the tri-county area of Pulaski, Bleckley and Dodge counties. These 3 counties have a combined population of almost 40,000 residents. Our church is comprised of people from each of these counties and we are reaching into each of these communities more and more.

One area we are especially trying to evangelize is the Hispanic community of these 3 counties. There is a large population of Hispanics here that basically don’t go to church anywhere, thus leaving us with a large potential harvest to reap.
